    Hi !

I finally took the plunge and ordered the 15.4'' macbook pro here in the UK :D. Am now looking for a decent nice shoulder bag that won't cost me the earth (the mac did).

I know crumpler seem to be good and reliable and i've seen good reviews around. And it does not scream 'I am a laptop bag'!! I was wondering what you've been using for a 15.4'' and if you think the following looks good:

    crumpler TBL01

I'd like it to be comfortable and protect my mac (have an inner compartment defintely). Any suggestions welcome.

Lastly, I want to splurge on a Kensington lock for my MBP, do you find these handy? And do they fit all laptops? There are so many different types around, do you have an opinion on this:
    Kensington slim Lock

    Thanks a lot again!

I can't really help with bags because I just use a Newegg branded generic. ;)

For the lock, stay away from barrel locks because they are extremely easy to crack. This leaves you to flat key and combination locks. From that just buy one of the thicker MicroSaver ones (I use the MicroSaver DS). They do help prevent the opportunistic thief from snatching your laptop, but it isn't going to stop anyone from stealing it while you're away for more than a few minutes. I'd say buy one, but still keep a good eye on it and lock it up in a bigger fixture like a safe while you're gone.
