I would like some suggestions for a good bag or sleeve for my Dell 700m w/ the 8 cell battery. Plenty of bags out there but I can't find one that fits snugly enough. Any help is appreciated..

There are a ton of options. I like the small Sumdex Speed Pac if you want a backpack. Try looking around ebags to refine your needs.

Can't find one that fits snugly enough? fits you or the laptop?

I'll assume the laptop. www.tombihn.com makes some great sleeves. The monolith and braincell versions are really well protected if you want to carry your lappy in a backpack. They come in lots of difference sizes so you should be able to find one. I went with the size 5 monolith for my ibm X40 and it fits great. Tombihn also makes some great bags, I use the brainbag backpack.

I have a 700m with 8-cell battery and use a Shinza sleeve. It fits perfectly with great protection and I can then use any bag I chose, not necessarily one for notebooks.

How about a Glad easy tie bag.

HEHEHE, sorry I couldn't resist, I was born an ass.

Shinza sleeves have gotten good reviews and the sumdex sleeves. For bags if you want a backpack check out NorthFace packs as they have laptop compartments.

For messenger style bags I would suggest Tombinh as Coriolis has mentioned many times over and Booq bags.

Booq's sleeves double as messenger bags. Kinda pricey, but really stylish.

    Cheers,
    Mike
