It's literally just a case for the laptop, to keep it protected. It doesn't have any handles, etc. so you would normally need to stick it in a larger carrying case (or just carry it under your arm, rather than with a handle). It is very high quality though.

    Hi Minotauro,

I can empathise with your trouble.

You've gotten yourself a beautiful SZ computer which is far slimmer than the other similar notebooks and lighter.
Now you can't find a decent bag for it because most people have bought the oversized notebooks at 15.4" and bag manufacturers are producing only bags for those size...

If money is not an issue, try some of the boutique brands like Mandarina Duck or TUMI...

    :)

My BooQ Mamba is a sleeve/bag that fits my SZ perfectly. I have the older model which they don't carry anymore, but the new one should be ok. The new one does seem slightly bigger/bulkier.

    Hi,
I'm not sure which case is best for your sz, but you should check out http://www.portacovers.com/Laptopcovers.html

I bought a black padded water-resistant port-a-cover for my Apple G4 from portacovers.com and it fit perfectly! Some of my friends with other models have bought and liked them as well.

The best thing about it is that the cover stays on while I'm using my laptop! I close it, pick it up, and carry it by the straps. Also, when I put it in my bag, I just pull it out by the handles.

It has a clear plastic screen protector, a large front pocket, and D rings for attaching removable straps and velcro or zipper closure.

doesn't that block the vents for the fan?

There's the Shinza zeroshock sleeve that has memory foam and the Sumdex impactguard that i did a review for here here
same memory foam, and it has handles. tom bihn also has good sleeves, though theirs are bulkier and work great as stand alone cases.

i found the Crumple 'Sheep Scarer' fits my SZ well with room inside the bag for other gear without bewing bulky. It's fairly expensive but high quality.

    Hi Tatiana,

Those look like very interesting notebook carriers.

The unfortunate issue with them are that they don't really look very sleek...and that does a major injustice to the SZs which look fabulous.

At the moment, I believe the best looking SZ sleeve out there is still the original one by Sony but its pricey and isn't half as practical as many others out there. (Portacovers for example...)

Well, we can't have it all can we?

    :)

I checked out the Sleeve originally designed for the S series laptops and the sz doesn't fit very well. I don't reccomend it.
