    so i bought an ipod touch 8gb last wed and i saw in the local ad that if you buy one this sunday to next saturday you would receive a free 30 dollar gift card. can i still get this since i have had for less then a week and i know they due price protection?

    The official policy is that price protection only applies to straight price cuts. They do not match "get something free" offers.
