    well, logitech G7 of course!

but beware that all the cordless mouse have a li-ion battery, which have limited life. and also that the G7 lack the "forward" thumb button.

The G7 isn't a Bluetooth Gaming mouse. The G7 is purely just wireless.

If you want a 'Gaming' Mouse, do NOT use Wireless or Bluetooth. That is provided you want the best gaming experience there is.

But, if you don't mind and just play the occasional games, then the Logitech G7 should fully suit your needs.

I have been using the Logitech G7 wireless mouse for quite some time now. In combination with the G15, I am doing an awesome job. Granted the G15 is not exactly connected to a notebook. I would not recommend the G7 for a laptop though, as it has a rather bulky receiver, unless you only bring your laptop to LAN parties. That is because it comes with 2 batteries, and you charge one in the receiver whilst you are destroying your enemy on the field.

For those who are wondering what games I play with the G7 these are:
    WoW - Lots of PvP
AoC - On a FFA PvP server
Battlefield 2 - Yes I am very good
Counterstrike - I am only ok at this one

So the G7 is definitely capable of being a good utility mouse. I like the fact that it is not connected to a wire. In the heat of combat, I have been known to get tangled up, and in one case rip the mouse out of its housing... which pretty much guarantees death.

As far as Bluetooth is concerned, I find that it is just too querky for gaming stability, but wireless is just fine if you get a quality mouse.

If you buy certain Mice with keyboards ( Logitech ), these mice can be bluetooth, I own the MX5000, which is bluetooth, including MX1000 mouse, also bluetooth, if you buy the MX1000 separately they are wireless, not bluetooth, this may be the same with the G7 mouse.

Bluetooth is known as non-gamable. They lag they skip etc. You will get poor performance.

Wired mice is the current standard for gaming mice as there is no lag, no skipping and has a better response rate etc.

If you are really desperate for wireless hit the G7 by logitech but beware if you have a 2.4ghz router nearby you will get interference.

    Bluetooth gaming mice don't exist.

All true gaming mice are wired. I would recommended the Logitech G9 or G5 if you're on a budget. The Razer Death Adder is good to.

Yeah I'll echo that, bluetooth gaming mouse is an oxymoron. Or the MX518, it's a classic that's still a proven winner years after release.

    let's rephrase the question:

If you had to get a bluetooth wireless mouse for gaming purposes, which would you choose?

Why Bluetooth? Are you lacking in USB ports?

    Hello, everyone!

I've noticed it's emphasized a couple of times here that it's not a good idea to use BT mice for gaming.

I'm sorry but just so happened I was also searching for a gaming mouse as well since I got hooked playing Bad Company for a week now! :D

Don't mean to hijack this thread. Well, here goes me... :D How about a Zalman gun mouse? It's wired so definitely it's not BT. And they say it's designed for the ultimate gamer out there... FPS. Has anyone really tried it? Need some realworld feedbacks. Don't worry google's my best friend (as I'm typing right now, I have yet to find a review online> just need some more time)

    Appreciate any thoughts...

    TIA!

I tried in vain to game with a bluetooth mouse (Call of Duty 4 and World of Warcraft). It just didn't work. Skips, course mouse movements, etc. I really, really wanted to put that bluetooth module in my laptop to good use. It just doesn't work for gaming.

So I went out and purchased the Logitech Nano V450:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104217

Its mid size. Its a LASER mouse (ie, works on any surface). Nano receiver can easily stay in any laptop. If not, just remove it and store it INSIDE the mouse. Scroll wheel is excellent and quiet. Middle click is easy.

Great battery cover placement. The cover under your palm pops up to reveal the batteries and receiver storage area. I hate mice with the battery cover on the bottom of the mouse. It droops after a while and drags on your mousing surface. It takes 2 AA batteries, so it should last a really long time. The box states a year, but if I get half that, I will be extremely impressed. Also, those 2 AA batteries a little bit of heft to it. So if you prefer a weightless mouse, it may be too heavy for you.

This model only had 3 buttons, so that could be a limiting factor. But otherwise, its the best wireless 3-Button mouse out there.

Also, Logitech makes a LASER 6-button mouse with the same nano receiver, the Nano VX.

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104080

But I personally haven't used it. I really don't like the battery compartment being on the bottom of the mouse. That placement caused me to throw out two other styles of Logitech mice for the cover dragging on my table. It does have great reviews on Newegg though, so they may have fixed the issue.

In the interest of continuity (just a ff-up to my previous post here), I took upon myself to establish providence on my own time, of course, which I have precious little...

I was ecstatic until the moment when I've got to confirm it's for PC only. But epiphany struck me, I said why not try XFPS 3.0 Sniper Plus since it lets one play(ideally for) FPS games on his X360 console with modern USB KBoards & mice. Yeah, why not?!? After all, it's USB! Yes, take your unfair advantage, they say! Apart from such, allowing the use of Playstation controllers on the aforementioned console. Moreover, this gadget even manages to bring auto-fire to the X360.

I know these are already age-old stuff for us. But I'm just sorting out if I could somehow really use such mouse for Bad company & other FPS X360 games.

After learning from Zalman Guess, it's no-go for me. Well, not until I hear from 'em guys of XCM. That's what left for me thereafter...

Oh, I couldn't ask for more if only Zalman could somehow make license products for MS. Look at Madcatz! :D

It may sound easy but I know it's not - legal & stuff. LoL!

    Chill out!
