Hey guys, was wondering if I could get some recommendations for a bluetooth headset. I'll be using it alot for VOIP calls as well as listening to itunes. First off, I'm no audiophile so I'm not looking for THE best killer sound, though that doesn't mean I wan't something I can't enjoy when I'm listening to music. I tried doing some searching around but I keep getting BT headsets for cell phones, I'm more interested in something of the likes of Blueants X5i or Dell's BH200, however I keep getting alot of mixed reviews on both. I saw a plantronics model somewhere as well but I can't remember the model. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

I use the Plantronics Discovery for internet telephony, and its been great so far. I would definitely recommend it.

I use a Plantronics Voyager 520 with my mobile phone, but I'm sure it would work fine with a bluetooth-enabled laptop as well
I'm sure their newer 'Discovery' range (i.e. 610/640/650/665 etc) would work too though, if you prefer the look of those? -

Any idea what the difference between the 640 and 640E is? -

I have the Plantronics Pulsars, I have only used them as headphones thus far and not a headset but I am sure they do an outstanding job too.

BT HS are bad news for people, if cell phone presented a danger (cancer), BT HS are constantly in the ear, they are worst.

Cell phones and BT do not use the same signals or technology tho so its apples to oranges.

What technology does BT uses?

Hi,
I have a plantronics Voyager 640 BT headset. I am trying to pare it with my laptop running windows vista, but it asks me to install driver for headset, how do i do that. Although BT is recongnising the BT headset.
Thanks in anticipation. -
Nothing is difference between 640 and 640E you can use it...
