While looking for deals on a bluetooth laser mouse, seems like there's nothing but complaints about various bluetooth mice, such as how many go to "sleep" fast and take an annoying amount of time to re-awake, using more battery, etc.
I was wondering what the sentiment here is.
trying to decide between bluetooth, regular rf, and a normal usb/wired laser notebook mouse.

Yeah, I would avoid BT mice if you want to have good receptivity and fast response. You can't get laser BT mice anyway, and if you are even pondering gaming, then BT mice are really out of the question.
What about waiting for the Logitech VX Nano? That looks like a really awesome mouse...and a very tiny usb dongle!! -
Actually, the MX1000 BT mouse I have works fine for gaming. It's not nearly as good as the DeathAdder I have for my desktop, but it's fine for any normal uses, and even works decently as a gaming mouse when I'm travelling.

No, i have a bluetooth laser mouse and its fine for gaming. It does go to sleep after a bit, but you just click the scroll wheel and its fine. There is zero lag with it and has great response, 1600 dpi. Its a targus mouse i got at compusa for 10 dollars after rebate and discount.

the rebate doesnt work anymore but its still a good mouse. -
Do you know if Logitech has a BT mouse that has simular performance? I live in Canada and i don't think I can order from comp USA. I heard V270 is good, but would it be good enough for a bit of gaming (eg: CS source)?

I picked up a Logitech V270 bluetooth mouse and I kicked some ass on F.E.A.R last night
Just as good as my wired Logitech gaming mouse I'd say.
bluetooth mouse.. not so great?
