There seems to be very few choices for bluetooth products for computer use. I found a logitech v290 mouse and was wondering if it was a good mouse or if there are some better alternatives. Also I am finding it very hard to find a bluetooth stereo headset . Wondering if anyone has any recommendations.

    thanks

If you are wanting a two channel headset. Check out my review of the Motorola HT-820 (In my sig). It's a great headset for listening to music and such.

I have been looking for a set of headphones or something like that because I hate using the wired ones but I haven't had luck. I've seen mostly headsets for cell phones and very expensive ones.

About the mouse, I have the Bluetooth Mouse of Microsoft. It's really neat, I'll summarize my experience with it:

    Pros
    Great killer looks.
You can side-scroll (with the wheel). Many say it's useless but my experience tells me the opposite.
Two extra buttons (on the left side) so you can go back and forth while using web browsers, carpets of files, etc (can be programmed as well). Due to this, I really don't use the Mouse Gestures of FF.

    Cons
No turn off button. Removing batteries sucks, so I went with keeping them until they die... nice deal, the same par it's still kicking after one full month :D
Sometimes, it falls asleep quite often.

Overall, a great option with an USB included if you don't have a Bluetooth built-in machine, but if you do: Enjoy!

Well, the HT-820 is for computer and phone. You can actually have the headset paired to both at the same time. So if you have a call, you can swap from the computer to the phone.

It sounds wonderful for music, but what about talking over internet programs like teamspeak, yahoo messenger, etc.. I just bought a asus z70va a month or two ago with built in bluetooth. Anyone know if this has the right version of bluetooth on it?

Well when using it to talk, it sounds like a cell phone, not high quality.

I also have an ASUS z70va and am interested in the HT-820. From doing some research I found out that even though the z70va's Bluetooth module is 1.0, you still can stream music from the z70va as it supports A2DP.... I'm planning to pair my z70va with a P800 phone for listening to music/receiving calls, so I hope I buy the HT-820 as soon as I can! :)

Wow... where did you find out this info? I have the Asus W3V and was wondering if A2DP was supported on it too. I assumed it would mate but not with stereo under A2DP. Please post again when you get your headphones and let us know how it works out.

In the "Bluetooth Settings" software that I guess you also have (since your lap is also an ASUS) there is a section called "Listening to music using the stereo headphones". There it states that it supports A2DP. I asked an eBay vendor, and he answered me this:

    "Hello,

Yes, If your laptop supports A2DP technology, Then you should not have a problem at all.

However, Your phone will not be able to hear music. (Might only work for phone calls). Once your phone rings while streaming music, The headphone will beep, Push the button, Music stops, Call starts. Pretty neat features this headphones have."

I hope it DOES come out the way he says, haha... wish I could test them before buying but I guess I'll take the risk sooner or later :p
