well tomarrow im thinking about picking up some items.
i was thinking of picking up a external harddrive, a laptop sleve, or maybe a wireless keybaord/mice and a vga cable.

now has anyone been to the liquidation sales and tell me if they have well low prices (better than bestbuys/others) just so i know what im walking into, plan on going at 1:00 pm tomarrow.

and also which external drive is better, i know the maxton has more memory, but which is better? i plan on using this for gamefiles, ect and just for extra memory.

if theres a better one out there at RETAIL stores, tell me pls

    thnx- fud

I bought the drive, linked above.

I HIGHLY recommend drives powered by USB. Otherwise you need an outlet.

Some of the popular ones are below:
    Sandisk Firelite
    WD Passport
    Simple Tech Signature Mini

Good prices for drives, like these:
    500 GB - $107 to $134
    320 GB - $90
    250 GB - $70-$80

No local store will be cheaper than online stores (even with mail-in-rebates that take months to receive the money) like www.buy.com, www.amazon.com or www.newegg.com.

If you need to buy locally, and like paying sales tax:
    www.salescircular.com (local store ads)
www.shoplocal.com (local store ads and online stores)

USB powered drives only work if you have got one.
I've got 3 external drives on a USB hub (powered)
I think powered drives may give you a better perfomrance too, but:
Runnig games of a USB drive will possibly be slow (depending on the game)

I suppose 60 Dollars for 250GB may be possible...

About the games - I don't play them.
If they use a lot of HDD access - then it'll run badly - if no, then you should be in the clear.

But an external HDD is definitely good storage area.

(I've got something liek 1,75TB (actual 1600 odd GB))
