    Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy a headset (no mic boom) for use with my computer. I'm living in a dorm and it can get pretty noisy so I'm looking for something that cancels noise or at least does a decent job of reducing it. Also I have a roommate so it can't leak that much or it will most likely bother him.

I'm looking to spend less than $100 and I've looked at a bunch of options like Sennheiser, etc. but I'm hearing a lot of things about uncomfortable headsets and questionable quality. Some reviews have even said that Sennheiser microphones can favor bass too much? I mostly listen to electronic/techno and rock but I'd like a balanced headset that doesn't favor one thing more than another.

So can anyone recommend me some models of headsets I should look at that they may know are good from personal use? I've looked at Sennheiser HD 202 Headphones which are really cheap but I've heard hurt one's head after wearing them for long periods of time, and the Sony v6 looks really good but it's been around for a while and something else has had to come out since then right?

Thanks for your help in advance!
