    i need a replacement but i don't know what to search. i figure it would be cheaper instead of buying the entire charger? thanks!

    thats called a powercord.. the other uncircled half is the transformer (aka step down transformer)

    try an electronics store, im sure they will have it there. Consult an electrician or technician first before buying though. As far as i know generic cords should work too as theres no specific voltages/amps running through that cord
