I own a Cryo LX cooler, I went on eBay and bought an AC adapter so I can speed up the fans in my LX. I disconnected all the cables between my laptop and my cooler because I felt a 12V power might not do good to my laptop if it's connected to it. When I plugged it in, the fans started running at very high speed, and surprisingly, my laptop reacted too... At first, it says "An audio jack has been plugged in", then, my wireless mouse started lagging. Keep in mind that there are no wires connecting the 2. I tried to switch the adapter to 4.5V and this still happened. I'm so confused, is there some sort of wireless thingy inside the LX that got triggered by the adapter and somehow made my laptop recognize it as an "audio jack"? (when I unplugged the adapter, my pc said again, "An audio jack has been removed" and everything went back to normal. The 12V power didn't fry the USB hub on the LX, it still works)

you mean the mouse? I tried that, didn't work. It was lagging like the battery was low or something was interfering with the wireless signal when the adapter was plugged in.
