I'm looking for a nice bluetooth headset for listening to music off of my computer and making calls with skype. Anybody own a set that they can recommend in good faith?

Those look pretty high quality, although a bit pricey. This 'a2dp' makes me nervous. Is it proprietary?

No A2DP is not proprietary. It is a bluetooth profile which defines how high quality audio can be streamed from one device to another. Bluetooth products are usually pricey. Remember, you get what you pay for ;)

If you wanted, you can just get a high quality headset, like for example: Plantronics Voyager 510. Then you buy a bluetooth USB dongle and hook that up to your pc. Sync your bluetooth headset, then you should be able to use it as a microphone and headset. It is supposed to work really well. The plus to doing it this way is that if you have a bluetooth cell phone (like a Treo or Blackberry, etc), you can use the headset piece for that also.

yes i would also like to know about a stereo bluetooth headset because i am on the hunt for one to listen to music on the mp3 player on my cellphone because the stupid earbud headphones that came with it are a little too big for my ears so they keep falling out

Bluetooth headsets don't really get too cheap. Average is probably around $30. With rebates, you could possibly get it for lower or free (but the model won't be that solid).
