Some friends and I had a campfire last night and I was carrying some beers in my laptop backpack. Well, of course, one of them kersploded and now my bag smells of filthy festering beer. Does anyone know how to efficiently and safely clean it? I'm somewhat hesitant to put it through the laundry. Thanks.

It would probably be fine just to put it in the wash under gentle cycle then hang it out to dry. I do it to most of my bags.

Fill the tub with water and a little dish soap. Have at it. I do the same with my hockey gear and it works well.
