Ok, so learning from my prior mistakes...

I bought a PSP about 2 or 3 months ago. Often times my fingers would touch the screen and I would stupidly wipe it off with my shirt or something. Well occasionally I guess something like a grain of dirt would get rubbed against the screen and I'd end up with noticible scratches. Aside from that, there are lots of little scratches that I guess for the most part you cant see unless the screen is black or there's light reflecting onto it.

But anyway, I dont want this to happen to my notebook, so can someone recommend accessories (special cloth, cleaner spray, etc) and general advice on the matter?

Also, I have heard about anti glare covers that you can buy for laptops. Anyone had experience with them? Are there any particularly convenient ones that I would be able to take on and off easily so that I would use it most of the time, but if, say, I wanted to watch a movie I could just pop it off?

    Thanks :)

The cloths you can get are called microfibre cloths. You can pick them up at an optometrists office (aka glasses place).

You can buy a screen protector, Protect-T makes good screen protectors.

x2, I use a microfibar cloth. They aren't exactly cheap, I think you can get them in many stores in packs of 20, for like 40 bucks, but they last a long time if you don't trash them. Don't need any liquid, or sprays, just wipe your screen just wipe the screen with the cloth, and it's spotless.

Google, "Telescope cleaning cloths" and buy one of those. I have a cleaning cloth that came with my telescope that is super soft and non abrasive, obviously designed to be gentle with the delicate coated optics of a telescope. It works wonderfully on my LCD screens.

I use a shaggymac screen protector and cleaning cloth, both have been great. In regards to cleaning sparys when I bought the shaggymac thing of the net (I live in Australia so I had it sent over from America) I also bought this optimist prime (I think thats the name) cleaning spray. nothing I've used before that stuff has worked better.

and no I do not work for shaggymac, just love there gear as its exactly what i wanted.

    no scratches yet ;)

I use a microfiber cloth and a bit of water, cleans just fine. Don't use any sort of cleaners on your screen, especially if it is glossy.

I stand by Monster Screen Cleaner and microfibre cloths. The Monster Solution may seem a little expensive but it lasts for a long time (I'm at a year now with twice daily cleaning and I've still to finish one bottle) and seems to make a noticeable difference to the screen. As suggested by bombers, get the microfibre cloth from an automotive store as they will be a lot cheaper.

3M Scotch Brite Microfibre is widely available and pretty cheap. It's also quite good.

I HIGHLY recommend PixelClean. It is a kit with spray and screen wipes, also comes with a travel pack in which the spray it replaced by a moist towelette. One less liquid to bring through customs. Very effective and doesn't harm the screen at all (TV, PSP, Laptop, etc)
    Check it out - http://www.pixelclean.com/category/LCD_Screen_Cleaning_Products.html.

Check out the Mobile Edge MicroClear. It's an self-adhesive microfiber that you can stick on the back of your PSP or laptop so you don't have to worry about carrying a microfiber cloth around with you separately.

Those are good. Protect very well, especially if you accidently touch your screen or bump it.

I would highly advise you check out Ebay for PSP screen protectors. You'll save a lot compared to retail. :)
