Hey guys, I'm enjoying my HP notebook a lot so far. However, the fingerprints on the 'polished' black case are getting annoying. And what about the smudge marks on my screen - what's the best way to clean these off?

Also, in regards to playing dvd's etc., are cd walkman headphones ok to use? I think they are, but just wanted to check. Thanks, Greg

I just used damp cloth and just wipe everything on my notebook, including the screen, and a dry cloth after that.

As for headphone, yes, its perfectly fine.

I use a microfiber cleaning cloth for the screen. Yes, CD headphones will work just fine.

I go to Wal-Mart and buy anti-static wipes, 80 sheets for $3.50 and CD headphones is what I use and I'm satisfied with them.

A micro fiber cloth specifically designed for LCD screen will work very well, often without any solvent. If you need cleaner, get some without amonia or alcohol. The same cleaner can be used on the case as well.

Microfiber cloths are the way to go to wipe down your notebooks. And any set of headphones/earphones will work with your notebook's audio out.

i used alcohol on my screen and it didnt do any harm to it, but i noticed no matter what you do when you clean ur screen(talking about the hp glossy screen) there will be smudges on it no matter what cleaning it with just the cloth that comes with it helps alittle but doesnt get rid of the smudges all together.
