color matched accessories?

just wondering if you folks like to try to match accessories to your machines (red laptop, red mouse, red sleeve or bag, etc. etc) or if you just go by whatever works best for what you need, regardless of color

 

well my laptop is all black, and i only just noticed that my mouse (logitech mx518) is black as well and colour matched. hahaha in fact my zune is also black so that matches too (i'm only just noticing all this NOW ). my mouse pad is white though, and my laptop cooler is white too

 

I would normally be the kind of person who says that everything has to match, but since the laptop I'll probably end up buying doesn't really have anything to match it (its a toshiba with that "fusion" finish), I'd like to get as close as possible... probably end up getting a skin for it so I could to the color theme...

 

i voted for everything has to match, but without sacrificing any quality or ergonomics. i bought everything around my set up to match with my tuxedo black and silver m1530.

- black/silver/aluminum m1530
- brushed aluminum & black cryo LX
- black & silver logitech z-4's
- silver & glass euroway desk
- aluminum & black USB hub
- black mesh-back & silver chair
- black leather ottoman
- black/silver/grey logitech mx 400
- black & silver USB drive
- all electronics even have blue LED's to match the m1530's blue operating lights

all quality. no sacrifices.

 

I did the same as housted.. I also buy my notebooks to match as well.. If its not black/gold + Blue light I aint buying it

I try as hard as I can to keep my 2 Reds: Garnet and Scarlett, as well matched with the accessories as I possibly can!!!

For a little while I had my stuff accidentally match, but I've been upgrading my accessories and they don't match as much. Soon as I get my new laptop they'll match even less.

 

I'd like my stuff to match, but it's not the highest priority. Sure if I have a choice of colors for some products, I'll pick the ones which match, but other than that, I won't sacrifice utility for matching colors lol

 

I don't particularly care, all my stuff just happened to match. Except for well, my desk and chair...

My Studio 1535 is black, so 80% of accessories out there will probably match. So far, I have:

• Black Logitech G9 mouse
• Black and silver Logitech Z-2300 speakers
• Black Dell 5-button Bluetooth Travel Mouse
• Black Logitech wireless USB numeric keypad
• Black custom-built desktop computer
• Black ViewSonic VA2026w 20" display
• Black Logitech G15 gaming keyboard
• Black Logitech Precision gaming headset
• Black suede office chair

Basically, everything is either black or mostly black with some grey/silver. For the most part, this is completely coincidental.

I do admit, though, that I am somewhat guilty of matching brands when it comes to accessories. As my list makes fairly obvious, the vast majority of my accessories are Logitech products. I've always had excellent experience with every Logitech product I've ever owned, so I generally tend to look first at Logitech when I'm buying any new accessories.
