I'm buying a small and cheap USB memory card reader, and I don't know if there's a specific one I need.

    There's one that says...

USB 2.0 MEMORY CARD READER WRITER SD MMC T-FLASH TF 4GB

    and another one that says

MINI USB 2 0 MEMORY CARD READER WRITER 4GB SD MINI MMC

The main difference I see is SD MMC T-FLASH TF verses SD MINI MMC

Does anyone know what the main differences would be? I'm going to be getting a 16GB SDHC card, but I can't tell if this would work with either of these.

To me both look same. Why they are advertised as 4GB is confusing. One has SDHC logo printed on it, which I assume means that it supports SDHC  in that it should work with that 16GB card.

ya, that's what I was checking out too. One seemed to mention something about needing an adaptor though to use certain flash cards with this, and so I wasn't sure if this adapter alone would do the job.

A SD card will fit both of those without any adapters. You need adapters for smaller cards like Micro and mini SD.
