I have been looking for a way to save on printing costs. I saw this: www.bottomlessink.com Has anyone used or seen this system before or something similar? Does it really work or is it just a waste of time and money? I've tried using refills but the ones I bought were not very good. BTW, I'm in Asia and the refills we get here are not as good. :(

    That kind of looks cool.

why not give it a try and tell us how it goes Iku?

Too bad your refill supply over in Asia isn't as good as us over here in North America.

Maybe you're not looking hard enough? Reill kits should be plenty over there.

what kind of printer do you have? I have read some posts from people who use CIS systems from http://www.inkrepublic.com/ in Epson printers without problems.

searching here might turn up more info.

You may want to try the Printing Forums at www.dpreview.com. There used to be lots of talk on this kind of stuff, since printing pics eats up tons of ink. There were alot of positive experiences.

The reviews I found were for Epson and it seems to work fine. It looks like the models that don't use sponge cartraiges work better. Any idea if it works for HP printers? I use a 930C.

Are you printing documents or images? I see it is a 4-color printer, if you are printing photos you might want to consider a newer 6 or 8 color printer before spending the money on a CIS to go with it.

also, I don't see your printer listed on that site. are the cartridges for another HP model compatible with yours?

Called a company selling CIS. Was told that it is recommended for Epson printers. The company I called said they don't recommend it with HP printers. Oh well..
