This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I got a WD MyBook Pro 500gb (that is with triple interface.) But 500gb will come to an end, and I though about getting a MyBook Studio with quad interface.

    My question is this, if I connect the Studio through eSata, and then connect my Pro to the Studio through firewire800, will I be able access it? Like one normaly can daisychain through firewire?

    Have submitted a question to WD, but they haven't answered yet, and it's been over 2 weeks.
