dealsmashers.com Legit site or have I just been robbed?

I changed on of my orders from another site after seeing the same product(messenger bag) here for much less (£59.99 to £45.00 inc delivery - 120USD TO 90USD)

However, I've not received a receipt, order confirmation or even password reset doesn't work.

I've been "first in line" for their customer services for the best part of an hour. I've already rung 20 times, the last 5 prior to this current call lasting 15mins.

What the hell?

They're not even replying to my emails. Feels like a veeeery shoddy company. I'm a bit paranoid that it's a fake site and I've just been scammed.

OK..after being on hold for an hour (not even speaking to anyone yet) they disconnect my freakin call.

Anyone know how I can stop this payment to this shoddy company?

 

Call your credit card company immediately and put a stop payment on that purchase.

 

I called them. I'm told they can't help me till the credit comes out. Odd.

 

hmm ok how odd. After about 2 hours of non answered calls and disconnections after the long wait...I tried again just now just to humour myself at this stupid stupid call waiting fake company...

...and a guy answered telling me my delivery is coming. Something is up with other users using the same email company as mine etc etc.

Phew. lol. One less thing to worry about. Damn stupid dell has made me paranoid about everyone because of their lying sales/csr and their magix delivery dates that have ZERO chance of coming true.

just out of intrest has anyone ordered of this site recently and recived their order? i ordered a plasma tv on monday for delivery today and i have not recived it and cant get through on the phone numbers on the website,Help!

 

it's a fake company.... fyi..... id tell your credit card company to stop payment. and just google dealsmashers reviews

 

The reason why your company said they couldn't stop the payment is because you had not made one yet. Credit card/debit card transaction start as a hold initially to ensure that you have the necessary funds. After a day or two of processing time (sometimes shorter, sometimes longer) the money will actually be taken from your account. Once this happens, the credit card company/bank is then able to halt the transaction and put the money back in your account. I don't know why it works that way, but it does.

 

are you sure there deff fake?as theres a slight mix of reviews some good some bad?

very true indeed, i tryed ringing bank and they think the sites legit!!

did any1 hear from interosseous as he claimed to have got thru on the phone lines?

 

just to let anyone who views this know, this is a legit company, they just have terrible customer service, i wouldnt recomend ordering off them but if like me you already orderd and then read this then keep trying the customer service line and you should eventually get through and have your order refunded!

 

Just watch your account so you can stop payment. Forget the website now, just deal with your bank/credit card company.
