    my wife has a pretty decent dell printer she got with a business computer awhile ago, but we have to order the ink cartridges from dell and they're hella expensive.

    I did a google search for the "T0529" and came up with nuthin but dell cartridges sold by other places for the same price. I get my HP printer's ink at Costco or way cheaper. Somebody know where i can get her's for a better deal?

    thanks all, later, Benji O.[ :D]

    Outside of Dell, the only other place I know of is Staples. In just the past few weeks they've reverse engineered a catridge and have started selling a few models.

    Alot of places can also "Re-fill" your cartriges. black and white ones come out fine there cheap as well, but some of the colors depending on the printer come out kinda funny. I have an HP Photosmart 7350 the black comes out just like an Hp black does at half the cost, but I do buy new color cartriges becuase some of the colors come out pretty poor

    I would give the refill a try. on my older Epson the colors came out fine, worked well with the printer, but not my HP!

    haha, thanks for the staples hint, i will check it.

    We've tried those "do-it-yourself" refill kits a couple times. they actually work pretty good, but we made a bad fricken mess one time, all over the counter at her bookstore... not good. she said she wasn't gonna use those anymore.

    Are you talking about a place that you send your empty to, they refill it, and then send it back??? that sounds fine for the black, we hardly use any color anyways. could you give me a hint of somewhere you've had success doing that? thanks all, Benji out.[ :D]

    hey, i'm with ya there, but i really am a tightwad, just ask my wife... i'm not ashamed though, i save money where i can to afford the cool stuff. makes sense to me. I'm down here in the states though, we don't have London Drug. you'll have to excuse my ignorance, but i'm not really sure what you meant by "LCS" there fella??? is it maybe local customer service; or lanky cedar squirt, or even laudy cerebelum sinker. uhhhh... that's really all i got.

    My wife is from Canada though, but she didn't want to make the 10 hour drive up just to refill the ink... go figure. She's actually a Newfie, from St John's. Her mom's family is mostly all still out there. we're goin next summer for a big reunion. I've never been to Newfoundland, so i'm quite excited. anyhoo, thanks for the tip, eh. haha, couldn't resist.

    later, Benji

    I take mine to London Drugs. and they take about 4-6 days to get back, I always keep a set of spare cartraiges in case I really need it. I just figure taking them in to get sent out it saves me about 15 bucks so times that by about 5 or more it pays for my color cartraige =) Im not a tightwade when it comes to money, but when things arnt a big deal to do like geting them sent away it just makes sense =) Just ask your LCS if they offer any type of program like that.

    LCS = Local Computer Store.

    nice try with the lanky cedar squirt! haha

    just call around and see if any of them send them away or can refill them in store.
