Hey guys, i recently decide to get a dual usb car charger so i can charge my iphone 3g and my macbook pro.....but ive been reading up on some products and some say that you need a very specific car charger to charge a macbook pro.

    Anyone have any suggestions??

Get a $30 inverter and use the regular Wall charger instead, probably cheaper since its not a mac product and it will let you use it for many other things.

I have a really nice one I got for $30 it has 3 plugs on it, and 2 usb ports.

Sure, this is not the one I am recomending you get but just a example of what I am talking about

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16842121018

Turns the power of your car into AC current like in your house so you can use any normal house accessories up to the limit of the inverter you buy.

If you want a little cheap one this looks nice: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882021115

Has a usb port, and one plug, 120w is good enough for most laptops. just read the rating on your power brick for your laptop if its the same or less, this will work fine.

Infact I know thats enough as my C90S used a 120w adapter and its a beast compared to your Mac
