I plan on getting a eSATA external hard drive. Now my Vaio SR laptop doesnt have eSATA, is it worth it to buy a expresscard eSATA port? How big of a performance difference wil there be between that setup and USB/firewire, which I have natively? i ask because I imagine theres a bottleneck with expresscard. also, whats the best one to buy?

The ExpressCard slot has a maximum throughput of 2.5 - 3.0 Gbps when using the PCI Express bus.
