so i bought a pair of sennheiser cx300 earphones off ebay.

all the reviews online rave about it, about its clarity and excellent tones.

i don't know if it was because i bought it on ebay, but they seem terrible in quality - muddled and the bass (especially if im listening to rock) is an unclear buzzy bass

anyone have a pair of cx300s that sound good? i've used the sony 71's, creative ep630s, and have a pair of razer m100s. and the sennhesiers sounds the worst by far. the music just sounds "fuzzy"

I got mine on Newegg for about 70 bucks. Awesome earphones in my opinion! They go great with my Vision:M! I would try again for them.

Bass sometimes buzzes, but that is in the really really low Hz (and I mean low). Evanescence "Fallen" cd sounds so awesome on these things (comparing the highs to the really deep bass and the way Evanescence mixes its music).

I would try again, in my honest opinion!

I have had two pair of these babies, and I don't know if I could ever go back to the old style of earphone. A great balance between cost and quality, and a lifetime guarantee!
    Into it!

Sounds like you got a pair of fakes. I got mine for £15 on amazon, an absolute bargain. Sound amazing.

yea, i think they are fakes =( well you learn from your mistakes.

though i did find a "headphone forum" =) and i was directed towards crossRoads MylarOne X3, which are from Singapore! ($57 with intl shipping) and supposedly they are amazing, much better than cx300s.
