I like the way my rude gaming/fierce mouse fits, but the lasers go **** after about a month and it turns into a jittery POS...

    budget $100+
    no razor stuff...
DPI doesn't matter, but I do use a WUXGA screen with the windows mouse speed all the way up.

I didn't experience any lag when I used it and mine was a couple revisions ago. It had the big receiver and different styling. Logitech is usually good with that kinda stuff I've owned at least 7 different mice from them and I hadn't noticed any lag with any of them.

Looks like the G700 might be up your alley. Similar size and shape, wireless, and 1ms latency compared to the Performance MX's 8ms.

nice time for a bump....

I just bought a g700 to test, I like it, but it doesn't have a spot for my pinky finger....

Is there anything that is a similar shape, but has a curve on the right side to use as a spot for my pinky?

Mionix Naos 3200 or 5000: Mionix Naos 5000. It fixed my logitech pinky problems, i went as far as to buy one for the home and one for the office. Might get a 3200 to carry around with my 2nd notebook too. If you want, i'll take a picture of me holding it once i get home.

The 3200 is a good mouse too, no adjustable weight, less LED, but an optical sensor which doesn't suffer form problems like negative acceleration or z axis lift distance. The shape is the same as the 5000 so it'll fix your pinky problems.

trying out the performance MX today/tomorrow...

It defiantly fits my hand better than the g700, and the darkfield laser is sooo nice...

I wish they would have the keyed USB port like the g700 though :(

    no issues with gaming yet.
