    I would like a fingerprint reader - but - I use firefox, so not the microsoft-one. Are there any alternatives which do work properly on firefox?

    Not sure if there is one. Hope there is. The fingerprint reader on my HP NX6125 will not work with Firefox. Forced to use IE :(

    yeah ok. It's about 120 euro (so even more) here in Belgium.. I'm not prepared to give that kinda money... I'll just wait till another one comes up.

    I love biometrics especially for laptops but I hate having stuff cluttering up my desk (these would do that) its best if the notebook has it built in-I plan on my next one having this. Best of luck.
