    I would like to know if it s possible to conf the fn key on an external keyboard...i have a logitech mx5000

    Did you read the manual? Usually the Fn key is not configurable so there may not be any mention of configuring the Fn key in the manual.

    Sad thing about the Fn key is that it's function, or the commands that it's supposed to do, is embedded into the BIOS. And it's not a standard configuration either - Fn+F2 on one laptop is not the same as Fn+F2 on another, so manufacturers will have a very hard time getting it up and running in a way that it's mostly universal. Sucks, but that's the reality of it.
