Whats a good budget laptop mouse that will do well on gaming? I think I used the nano before and it worked pretty good but that was a few years ago. I need something wireless
-
Define "budget".
For $50 or so, it's hard to go wrong with the Razer DeathAdder. -
just bought the deathadder, pretty nice.
-
That was quick.
-
lol yeah. Do I need a mousepad or does it "track anywhere"?
-
It's an optical sensor, which is generally less finicky about what you use it on than lasers, but it's best when paired with a good mouse surface to take advantage of the ultra-slick Teflon feet. If you like hard surfaces, I recommend the Razer eXactMat. If you prefer foam/cloth pads, check out the Goliathus (Speed edition) or SteelSeries QcK.

Saw that you already bought a mouse (albeit a wired mouse).
Still interested in considering portable wireless mice? -
i picked up the Logitech G500 at best buy for $39 the other day. i love this mouse perfect feel and grip
-
oops sorry i didnt see you that you wanted wireless.

I wouldn't say best if it still have issues to fix -
As a wireless mouse, it is half-assed.
- The biggest flaw, by far, is the short sleep timer. After 2 seconds of inactivity, the mouse goes to sleep. When you move it again, there is wake-up lag.
- There is 8ms lag, inherent with all Bluetooth mice.
- Batteries are not rechargeable
How is a sometimes-wired-sometimes-wireless mouse the "best mouse period?" If you want a wired mouse, get a wired mouse. If you want a wireless mouse, get a good wireless mouse... not Orochi, which does a half-assed job in wireless mode. -
Razer naga.
-
I bought the deathadder and I like it so far. Its probably overkill for starcraft 2, but Ill be playing CSS and TF2 in the future. I didn't quite have enough cash on me at the time to buy the orochi

i'd suggest anything with bluetrack or logitech darkfi--whatever it is...anything with a red laser would be a serious no no...
gaming/notebook mouse
