    I am going to mexico for a week. Do I need to bring an adaptor or anything?

    Yes, I meant a special power plug adapter. But I was going to bring a lock as I always do when staying in a hotel/resort.

    No need for outlet adapter, it is the same outlet as in U.S.

    You might want to bring a Voltage Regulator too, a pocket one, because the electricity is not too stable here, and really depends on the city's electric power plant.

    how is it mean? your going to another country with something expensive that can get stolen, why not bring a lock. unless it was something against mexicans.

    Whatever you do, don't leave it (or anything valuable) in your vehicle, it will be gone in 60 seconds.

    Hehe, living in the "2nd Most Dangerous" city in Mexico, nothing has really happened to me or my $4,700 laptop, a Kensingston Lock and not leaving it alone anywhere (specially into the car or in your hotel room) will suffice for security.
