okay i recently got the logitech g700 and am looking at a good surface for the mouse, please suggest a good surface. Currently i have my eyes on the razer vespula simply cause of the wrist rest which is something i would really like.

You can get an add-on wrist pad for any mouse mat. That said, I have a Vespula and it's pretty nice. I pretty much exclusively use the Speed side though. It's also rather on the small side, which sucks if you play with low sensitivity (which everyone should ;))

The Razer Goliathus is a good soft mat, it's what I use now. Available in different sizes and in Speed and Control surface varieties. The SteelSeries QcK series is similar, good soft mats.

I use the Ripper XXL and it works great with the G700. Also if you got around $15 dollars to spend, changing the stock feet with Corepads also do wonders.

Had the SteelSeries QcK before. Switched to Razer Goliathus as I didn't like the feel, as well as being too soft. Both are still great mats though.

The vespula is a decent mat, but mine wore out fairly quickly. The exactmat is awesome if you can find one. I have the QCK right now, I like the size, and it tracks very well, just make sure you clean the surface sometimes. That's the only downfall of softmats. My next mat will probably be a hard one. They are my preferred type.
