ok. sorry if this has been asked beofre but i usually dont get a good conclusion from other similar questions so here it goes

ive got a toshiba satellite pro a210 its got a bog standard sterio audio output thorugh the good old 3.5mm jack.
also its got an hdmi secondary audio output

my question is... is there a way to get either the hdmi or 3.5mm to output surround sound

i.e maybe a cable or adaptor that tranforms the hdmi out or jack out to the 3 surround sound jacks in?

more specifcally to work with the Logitech X-540 Speakers which has said inputs?

i know thats not very clear what i just typed so ill probably need to clarify things but anyway hope you guys can help. i have had loads of help from some very kind people on here before which is great. hope it continues.

ps as gratitute i will help with most other problems. (sound is my only weakness) :p
