    headphone jack to speakers????

    i have a 2004 hp laptop, and i am wondering if i can hook any wattage of speakers up to my headphone jack. i did't know if i hooked too big of speakers up to it whether it would harm my headphone jack, etc.

    The jack doesn't provide power, you'll be fine.
