    Here's the deal:
I've had these logitech x-230 speakers for ~2 and a half years.
Recently I accdentally dropped the sub and now the accoustic control tube (carboard tube with a rubber sealed end) has been dislodged.
the sub still works but the bass is somewhat flat if you listen close enough.
But that's now whats bothering me.
whats botherming me is that I can hear the tube rattling around when I move the sub and I can't stand it any longer.
My question is whether or not it is possible to open the sub box and reattach(reglue) the tube back in place.

So to all those members who have or are familiar with the x-230s please post if you have any ideas and suggestions.

    thanks in advance

    Fry

I am not sure if that is worth your trouble. The speakers can be had for $30 or so now so it might be more worthwhile to just et a new one.

I have plenty of speakers already:
    logitech 220s
    Logitech X-230
    Logitech z2300
    Klipsche Pro Media 2.0 THX

The problem is that Im strapped for cash and I don't want to put expensive speakers in my dorm.
If I cannot find a way to fix the tube I may look into buying some new ones but for now Im still holding out for fixing the old ones.

well, I take it that either noone has had this issue or they haven't bothered to try to fix it since these are a rather inexpensive pair of speakers.
