so i have two external monitors connected to my thinkpad's dock, one is connected with VGA and the other using displayport/DVI adapter.
i opened up "screen Resolution" in win7, windows detects all three monitors but only lets me use two only.
is there a way to get 3 monitor running at the same time?
thanks

There may not be. Many GPUs in laptops only have two display buffers even if they have 3 connections, so only two can be used at any time, which is why you're seeing what you're seeing in Windows. It's almost certainly a physical hardware limitation.
