The only ones of those I've seen are from old notebooks. I've never seen any in store.

I think I might have a related question. I am looking to see if I can simply plug an australian adapter wall extension into my adapter block, and if so, where could i get one. I bought my 8530w elitebook in canada, so I am unsure how this works. Basically I want to be able to plug the adapter directly into a wall without a plug converter. Hope that makes sense

Take a look at the power adapter for the input specifications.

If it reads 100-240V 50-60Hz, it is a univeral adapter (most are) and you can simply get an adapter so that it fits the wall socket.

Yea, I checked that and they match. So it will work, I just need the extension that matches their plug pattern. But I am unsure where to get that

It is a standard cable, the only question will be whether it is a two or three prong cable. You should be able to get one at Dick Smith or similar.

can anyone help me regarding my hp docking station for my DV9500? The cord to the notebook is so short. I would like to get an adaptor that would extend the docking station length. Does anyone know if that is possible?

    Thanks.
