    how do i unistall a hp mouse driver that doesnt work? or does it not matter, because im not gonna use it i dont need the drivers

    The driver itself doesn't matter, no.

    Even if you aren't going to use it, it is always a good idea to uninstall the drivers anyways. First place I would go to do that would be control panel / add/remove programs, and see if you can find the drivers in there.

    If not, just right click "my computer" and click "properties", then "hardware", then "device manager". You should be able to find the drivers in there, under "mice and other pointing devices".

    Now just right click the HP mouse, if it is showing up there, and click "uninstall", then make sure that you don't plug the mouse in again.

    Many of the generic mice use the basic microsoft driver. If your mouse does use the microsoft driver, and you uninstall it, then you'd lose the ability to use any mouse that doesn't require a special driver. Be careful.
