There's also the Logitech G7 and the upcoming Saitek R.A.T. 9. Of course, the Mamba is top notch. :)

I use the Razer Imperator. It's awesome except for a very minor Z-tracking problem (when you lift the mouse the cursor jumps a bit). I'm think of getting the upcoming R.A.T 9. It looks pretty sweet, and it's wireless.

    SideWinder X8 Mouse

Microsoft Sidewinder X8...preferred over Mamba in most reviews. Ive owned the Mamba too...its not THAT great ...like its a good mouse, but overpriced for what it is.

I had 2 MX1000 mice, and they, even though they were RF and not BT, had all sorts of troubles. Dead spots, interference with other peripherals, blah. I got a G500 wired mouse, with the configurable weight and dpi adjustment. I love it, much much better, and made me a much better bioshock player.

razer mamba = #1 wireless gaming mouse on the planet earth. Complete lossless signal 1000hz polling and 5600 dpi in wired or wireless. Every other wireless mouse has its features dumbed down in wireless mode. The battery is rechargeable on the mamba and you can play with it wired to the USB port while its charging if you happen to run out of battery, NEVER have to buy any batteries which makes up for alot of the extra cost of it.

For those that don't know polling mamba is the only wireless mouse to have 1000hz which translates to a 1ms response time when you do an action on the mouse. All other have a 125hz polling rate in wireless mode meaning it takes 8ms for each mouse action to register. Sure 7ms difference is probly not noticeable to the human eye but 7ms is still a tiny advantage and a true hardcore gamer will take every advantage they can get.

The G5 from Logitech (wired) has been the greatest gaming mouse I've ever used. Can't recommend any later models though...I abhore change :)
