This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    What does everyone think of the iLap? It seems rather stylish and comfortable, how well does it keep the system cool? Does it even keep the system somewhat cooler?

    Edit: I realise they're probably for Mac notebooks, but I'd assume you could use it for just about any other notebook as long as the size is right.

    Hey Omecle, any elevation keeps a notebook somewhat cooler, not as good as a fan, but I don't know of any lap-fans...

    Was seriously interested in one, then I saw the price! I currently have the Xpad, but it doesn't work very well with the HP/Compaq 12 cell batt.
