I recommended IS to my cousin for his MBP and iPhone and since it was 50% off at the time, but he hasn't gotten anything from them in almost over a month. They say they can't track it:

I am sorry to hear that your invisibleSHIELD for the Apple iPhone (Full Body) and invisibleSHIELD for the Apple MacBook Pro 15 inch (Full Body) have not arrived. Please note that we received your order #IS332343 on Wed Mar 5, and that we shipped it on the next business day. Unfortunately, after we ship the product we lose our ability to control the package, and can only suspect that your order may have been lost in the mail.

He contacted them again and have sent another one on Mar 20. Still waiting :( Hope no one else has experienced this! He lives in Toronto.

If they've already shipped it, a month ago...they really did loose it. I'm surprised they didn't provide proof that it was shipped though.

My recommendation: ask for a refund, and if they say no take it to the credit card company.

I hate when things get lost in the mail. Sometimes i wish they'd just ship it directly from the warehouse to my house, or fromt the warehose to the closest ups, and then i go pick it up.

I'll never forget that time when ups dropped my package off on someone else's door step on the other side of town. grrr..

Yeah invisible shield usually takes their own cool time with shipping. I have waited anywhere from 3 weeks to 2 months for products to arrive from them. I recently moved over to Best Skins Ever since reviews have suggested that BSE produces slightly higher quality skins and they are also a lot cheaper. Hopefully they come through for me...

The only thing that BSE lacks is the lifetime guarantee. Their skins are so cheap though that you could just buy another one and it still wont be as expensive as invisible shield

the BSE have higher quality skins?? do you know the materials used and how it compares to durability of the invisibleshield?

edit: just read and it says they use the exact same material (so it's cheap because??) do they custom design skins for laptops though?

I've had similar experiences from InvisibleShield with shipments getting lost, but they resent it at no charge. This was during the Christmas rush though, so its understandable. I've also have positive shipping experiences, with receiving orders under 2 weeks.

The thing I like about InvisibileShield is the lifetime replacement warranty and their customer support is decent. I'll definitely continue buying from them.

    Webster,

Have you ever asked them for a warranty replacement? They are a pain to get...my ipod clickwheel shield was actually peeling on its own (and this was not due to installation error, as I had installed at least 10 different invisible shields by the time I had got to this one). I have a feeling that the surfactant solution that they sent had to high of a salinity. Anyway, they wouldn't budge, claiming that invisible shields can simply peel of.....

Anyways, long story short - They had me send in my ipod for their inspection and only then offered to replace and reapply the shield themselves. All this for a 20 dollar product! Heck it cost me like an additional 10 bucks to send the ipod over to them....

I haven't actually tried but i think i might soon, because the shield for my cell phone is becoming streaky. I'll let you know how it goes.
