For some reason my ipod suddenly seized to be recognized by my usb's. I've tried looking it up under 'mass storage device' in device manager but it wasn't listed. I also have newest version of itunes. Has anyone else had this problem?

Did you try restarting the computer and plugging in again?

Hey! I had that exeact same problem, except it was with a pair of USB speakers. They just quit making sound. I eventually unpluged them, then went to device manager and unstalled the driver. Then I pluged them back in and they have worked fine ever since.

It worked for my speakers, but I'm not sure if you would want to do that to an i pod and risk losing your music collection.

Coz the processes start-up type must ve been 'Automatic' ...if its 'Manual' then it wont start unless u manually go to services.msc & start it
