Having seen the Razer mouse thread, what about gaming mousepads?
Razer makes a couple and I wondered if there was any notable difference or is just marketing hype? But some 'pads cost in excess of $30...
Any old mousepad to go with a premium mouse - or a specialised one?
Any thoughts?

I don't use a mouse pad at all -- too ugly and clumsy for me.
I just use the bare desk I have and everything is super smooth.
Playing games on it gives me more control than any pad I bet. -
The last time I used a mouse pad was before optical mice were made. Once I went with my first optical mouse from microsoft I never looked back and threw away my mouse pads.

I know a few people who play CSS in tournies for money.
2 of the guys (and 1 girl) don't use mouse pads. -
I have the Razer eXactMat mouse pad. Its definitely a nifty little mouspad, as far as they go, but I prefer the regular "foamy" pads myself, so I gave the Razer one to my friend. There is a review of it in my sig if you want some more info about it.

Only buy one if you do lots of 3D Modelling, where small movements of a line matters a lot, or if your an amazingly good FPS gamer, then you might want to buy one, but for me, It's a waste of money.
Also, its useless having such an exepensive mousepad if you dont have a decent mouse.
is Razer mousePAD worth it?
