Hey everyone. I'm saw some good/cheap Koss headphones that are on sale at my school's bookstore and I was wondering if Koss was any good. Thanks.

It depends... some of the Koss entry level phones aren't great, but the Koss KSC-75 clipons are simply the best bang for your buck (at least for under $25 USD).

Koss KSC-75 and Sennheiser PX100 gets rabid internet love for the budget option, for people who do not want earbuds or canals. I opted for the PX100s (in black ;) white PX100 looks cheaper) and never looked back. I just do not like clip-on's. Again, its a subjectivity thing

I too have the PX100's and have had them for for over a year, they're really nice head phones. I've had cheapy phones from Koss before and from those I wouldn't suggest that brand, but I do hear alot about the KSC-75's.

Koss started out as a pro high end studio headphone maker. They couldnt compete with the likes of AKG, Bose and Sennheiser so they bowed out of that race and just stuck to mid-line consumer h-phones.
The technology is there but i think they got a bad rap for where and how their products got retailed from (mainly RadioShack)
Koss is a good brand and you should be find with most models. Koss has just gotta get out of the dollar store type markets to get better respect

I've had a very basic, cheap pair of Koss earphones, and they are still going strong, after nearly 4 years. They're a tad uncomfortable though.

Its mostly context. If you don't like a pair of headphones, fine. But I laugh on head-fi when people bring big expensive models into play. That's great... so could I, but for the sake of common sense I won't. Compared with other budget cans I have tried honestly the PX100s are lovely

I know you really wanted to know about Koss though. Sorry, can't help. Clip-ons are just uncomfortable for me to wear for too long so I stay clear now
