Can someone tell me what their temperature for the CPU is with their notebook cooler for the L2000? I have the vantec 305 and the cooler blows the air up and im sure my L2000 blows the air down. So I don't think thats good right? I'm at like CPU is normally at like 38C and my HD is like 32C. Seems to do a good job cooling the hard drive.

I got the Antec Cooler which is on sale at Staples for 14.94. It sucks air from the top (under the laptop) and blow out in the right and in the back. I have a DV4000 with ATI x700 and a 5400RPM HD. My CPU and HD temperatures are 34C and 23C respectively. When I am defragmenting the HD, it went up to ~33C.

what is your frequency? Mine is 800mhz - 38C, your hard drive is way lower tho, mine goes up to 40, i saw the antec cooler and vantec has a higher RPM and bigger fans too so thats weird

The new Antec has 80mm fans instead of 70mm in the older version. I have mine set at dynamic switch. It may be at 800MHz most of the time. I did not bring the cooler to work today and the CPU and HD temperature are 44C and 34C, so there are 10C difference by the cooler.

By the way, what speed is your HD? Is it 7200 or 5400? The HD temp is very dependent on the brand though.
