That looks like it just screams you have a laptop in there.
Try to look for one that just looks like a regular backpack.

wow I have to agree.... That's a "laptop bag" with two shoulder straps. You might want to take a look at other offerings (for example, on ebags.com). Here's what I have and it works for my e1705 just fine (even though it's a 15.4" bag): >>>

First of all don't buy a dell bag because all they do is rebrand there name on it and charge more than whomever made it originally.

Also don't limit yourself to just a laptop backpack. You can use a regular backpack and buy a sleeve. Sleeve's come in all different types. (Read my review if you'd like).

I did get the Dell backpack, since it only added $8 to my order (it bumped me up to a higher discount bracket). Overall I'm satisfied, but it could be better. The notebook compartment is large for my M1210 (it can fit sideways in there!), but it's still padded and protective. I'm sure your 1705 would fit more snugly. It does say "Dell" on a small logo, and on every zipper pull. Speaking of zipper pulls, there are about a million of them. This backpack has about 30 separate compartments...I kind of wish they'd just made a padded laptop area, and one big other area. But I'm starting to be able to find my way around it and remember where I put things.

Overall, I'm satisfied for what I paid. You could do better if you're paying full price, though.
