I use a 90l backpack, that is stuffed mainly with clothing, and sometimes shoes. I want to shove in a laptop(14.1" or 15.4") too. What non-expensive protection case is reccomended for the task?

A neoprene or memory foam sleeve would provide good protection. I would recommend a Zero shock III. :) Readily available on ebay.

I shove the bag in bus trunks, and it also gets dropped and banged all the time. Will a neorpane case survive that?

i'm not sure if a neoprene case would survive that...it probably depends on the laptop too but i agree with Johnny T, a zeroshock III case is probably your best bet.

I agree with the neoprene for starters. But if you've already got a bunch of clothes in the bag with it, they can definitely act as a cushion.
