Do you wear yours loose or tight? I used to let it loose so it sit on my hip. However i walk a lot so it constantly bang my butt. I tried to wear it tight (on my back) but it feel really hot.

do you think the banging against my body will hurt the HD?

Does yours buckle around you to place tight on your back? If so, then I'd say tight. That's how I wear mine.

I wear mine to the side, and it is *cinched* firmly where I am comfortable..but where it won't roll off of my shoulder, either.

And, as long as your lappy is secured well, and protected ~ inside of the Messenger bag..it shouldn't be a problem..Mine has awesome core padding..so I don't have to worry about that. ;) :)

    Cin' ;) :)

As long as your bag is well padded, then it shouldn't matter if it's loose or tight.

Also, you should always wear the bag so that the straps are secured around your neck (if you know what I mean ...). You shouldn't wear the bag over one shoulder as the bag might fall off and hit the ground.
