R.A.T. 7 probably? TBH I haven't seen any larger mice than the Deathadder (asides from trackballs)
-
The Logitech MX518 is a LONG mouse, kind of bulky and large as well.
-
I honestly wouldn't recommend the R.A.T. 7, since the OP is quite a big guy. I own it and it's a great mouse and all, but I think it would be quite small for him. I'm only 5'6" and the mouse is actually just right for me.
ZombieZakk, if you want comparison pics of my hand and the R.A.T. 7, please feel free to ask me. -
The RAT7 is actually smaller than a lot of mice out there, despite the ability to customize the shape and feel. Plus, it uses absolutely garbage configuration software, and has a terrible imaging sensor. I wouldn't recommend the RAT7 to anyone.
The problem isn't the size of the mouse, it is the shape... and the right shape of mouse depends largely on how you grip. Are you a palm, finger, or claw grip mouse user? -
im pretty much a palm gripper sorry should have specified thanks for the responses guys. yea i probably wont find bigger than the deathadder just dont want to end up with something smaller.
And def. not interested in the R.a.t. because they are usually more for claw grippers
That sidewinder is interesting i might have to check that out i have not seen that one before. i like the weights feature. -

It is a huge, huge mouse. The pictures don't really do it justice. Nice thing about it is that you should be able to pop down to your local Best Buy to check it out in person. -
When you said sidewinder it made me think of the old microsoft gaming controller back in the day lol that big boomerang looking thing which always touted its tilt axis feature.
unfortunately the closest one to me did not have them they have a very poor selection but there is one about 30 away i will have to hit up this weekend and check it out.
EDIT: nevermind about the mouse mat i just ordered the razer ironclad so hopefully that will work i will be checking out mouses this weekend. i miss when compusa use to be in my area and was the place to go for gamers

Larger than the DeathAdder? That's a pretty tall order; the DA is the largest mouse I've ever used.
The original Sidewinder is pretty close from what I remember. It's been a few years since I've had it, but I remember it being pretty large. I wasn't a huge fan of the vertical thumb button layout, though.
The ID grip on the Logitech G9 was pretty big as well, but you had to order that separately from the mouse itself for an extra $20...not sure if they still do that for the G9x.
I've also heard that the G700 was pretty large, although I haven't used this one personally. -
G700 is wireless if I'm not mistaken.
What games do you usually play? I've heard that the SteelSeries WoW Cataclysm mouse is pretty big. -
i mostly play fps: TF2,MW2, black ops, BF:BC2, Crysis 2, etc.
then i play a lot of Starcraft 2 but i dont really play any mmo's im not opposed to the steel series WOW mouse ive seen it at my local best buy but its never out of the box maybe ill just give it a shot. -
@OP I don't know how well of a mouse this is for gaming but it's on sale at newegg right now for $24.99 w/free ship (it is a refurb, though).
Steelseries Ikari Gray-Black 5 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Optical Mouse -
Is the DeathAdder that large? I don't remember it being particularly large.
Using a Lachesis at the moment, and I hate it. So much. It's pathetically tiny. -
It can also be used as a wired mouse by plugging in a detachable USB cable. That said, it's widely regarded as one of the best wireless gaming mice out there. I love my Mamba, but I won't recommend it because it's physically identical to the DeathAdder.
-
The Lachesis is for claw users, is it not? Gamerbase used to have them, and I hated using them. DeathAdder is more for palm users.
-
Looks a little thin but thank you it does not have to be cheap ill pay a premium price for a premium product.
its not huge but one of the best palm mouses i have used and its a decent size many mice these days are getting quite small.
yea i looked at the mamba it is nice i dont mind something the same size as the deathadder was just looking for something different thats all. how hard is it to hit the two programmable buttons to the upper left of the left mouse click button? How well does it hold a charge?
i was looking on Razer's site and it said that the lachesis was for palm/claw users and seemed a bit awkward the size is great but look awkward to hold.
The current options seem to be: Microsoft Sidewinder, the Steelseries WOW mouse, or maybe a mamba just to switch it up.
I really love the naga for all the buttons would be great in fps to swtich different controls to but the dimensions make it sounds quite a bit smaller than a deathadder. -
The two DPI buttons are sort of out the way...you won't accidentally bump them in the process of clicking, but you can reach them easily enough when you want to without moving your hand. As for the battery charge, I take it off the dock in the morning and put it back on at night before I go to bed, and it's never run out on me.
-
yea i wasn't worried about accidental push but wondered it they were awkward to use. Kool that seems like a good charge as im usually on comp 2-3 hours during the week cuz im at work all day. and that can be corded correct?
-
G700 feels half-way between palm & grip style, also,it is fully made of high quality plastic, with some rough textures at the pinkie sides,Mamba is rubberised,so you may want to also consider the grip surface too.BTW,G700 moves around better without the cable, too much drag if wired.
-
thanks for all the help guys i went to best buy tonight and decided on the steelseries WOW mouse here are some pics with my new ironclad mat
-
Glad to have been of help.

The ID grip--I use it on my G9--makes it roundabout the same size as a MX518. Maybe slightly smaller.
Favorite grip out of the three, though. Amazon has a generic ID grip with spacefighters or something on it. It's the one I have. -
the one huge downside to this mouse as heads up to people is the buttons are only configurable in WOW not other games like BFBC2 or crysis 2
so its going back today.
-
Its not often that i bump into a fellow Ironclad user, here's my 2 most favourite mice resting on the Ironclad.
here's some pictures for reference if anyone here is wondering how the Mamba compares to the G700. -
yea i just got mine was looking for a large gaming mouse mat and the ironclad is great a bit pricey and the packaging is ridiculous but it works great for me its huge!
yea i tried the g700 at best buy not a fan of the feel looks like ill be staying with the deathadder or maybe ill pick up a mamba and go cordless
decisions decisions
-
I use a g700 and i think it's pretty big i guess. I don't have big hands but the way how it's made the hand contours to it perfectly. I played around with the mamba that is around the same level. I guess the rat 9 count too because you can adjust those panels; and just the overall adjustment.
-
If the TEXTURE of the G700 was your problem, logitech's performance mouse MX is roughly the same shape, different button layout, but far more rubberized.
-
i tried the performance mouse mx before and its not bad, i didnt mind the texture just something about the way it felt in the hand felt awkward
large corded gaming mouse?
