    logipen vs pulse livescribe?

Which one is better and why?

The digital pen will be used for taking notes in class.

    Thanks.

Never tried either of those specifically, but the Logipen sounds better since Livescribe requires you to write on a special pad of paper (can be printed from home) and Logipen doesn't, so it might be more convenient.

Humans can generally type faster than they can write by hand since we don't need to form out every letter, though, so unless you're going to be sketching pictures I don't recommend one.

My weapon of choice was the Wacom Bamboo tablet for drawing, and writing with it was much more of a hassle than typing even though it was virtually identical to writing by hand.

Edit: It appears that the Logipen refills are considerably more expensive than the Livescribe ones. The Livescribe also records audio if that's important to you.

    Hi There,
I am Ilan, I work at Logipen INC.
Please allow me to correct your latest comment. Since our product use a standard ball point refill (used in pens such as Lamy, Mont Blanc, Schmidt and others) the refill kits provided on our website consists of 2 ink refill, 1 ink extractor, and 2 batteries (for the digital pen)

All together there are several differences between the two products (Logipen and Livescribe) one major is the use of Livescribe special paper, while with Logipen one can write on any surface (..preferable a paper :) )
Feel free to browse our site and ask as many question to make your decision wise.
    Merry Christmas,
    Ilan
