I've been waiting also, I want a truly Bluetooth mouse with NO dongle or USB receptacle required. So far it's only available from Logitech's site for 49.99 plus shipping. When I called Logitech, they told me it has not been released for sales to retailers yet, but is available for sale from them.

I use the microsoft bluetooth Intellimouse Explorer, it works perfectly with my Z70VA no problems as of yet. No dongle is required all i need is the notebook's blutooth software and im ready to go.

there's also the bluetake bt500, the targus bluetooth mini mouse, the iogear bluetooth mouse, and the anycom bluetooth mouse which all don't require a dongle

I tried to find it in some stores today but no luck.

Anyone knows if this is a mini format, or is it moderately sized?

I hate those tiny little mice, after a few hours of use my hand goes numb! for now the mediaplay has been perfect. big enough to be comfy and small enough to carry around, but no dongles would be nicer.

i think it's smaller than the media play. it's probably the same size as the v200 wireless mouse which is small but not too small. some people find the v200 too small but it fits my hand pretty well.

I had the v200, found it a tad too small...

    Plus, no side buttons! :p

ouch ... V200 size. I don't find that too small like some other notebook mice, but I am not so sure I would want to use it for long hours ... I guess I'll have to just try to get the feel for it once it hits the stores.
And the no side buttons is a bit of an annoyance, but I useually use the keyboard for fast scrolling so I guess I'll have to relly on backspace :p

i plan on using the v270 as my travel mouse. i have an mx310 i use when i'm at home. the v270 seems like the perfect travel mouse, not too big/not too small, no usb receiver to worry about, comes with a carrying case, etc. my only reservation is about tracking. i do a lot of CAD work that requires precise mouse movement.

    woops missed that! :D

Are BT mice options limited or what!

BTW any clue if the V270 is BT v1.1 or v1.2? I am a bit sceptical about running BT v1.1 in an environment infested with 10s of wifi APs
